Well, That Was Winter
At least for the moment winter has disappeared again. Not that I'm complaining. It is near 60 degrees this afternoon and the forecast for the week is continued warm weather. Of course at 6 A.M. it wasn't that warm and probably won't be in the coming days. In fact, it was 38 degrees and drizzling when Annie and I did our loop, but it felt good anyway. It was warming even as we rode and after Fridays arctic ride my toes were plenty appreciative.
Haven't done "the loop" since September, but today's weather was too good to pass up. I'm a little tired from the ride, which surprises me since at the end of summer I was doing much longer rides with ease. But then again, I'm amazed how easy it was considering that last March I could barely make it to the Art Museum and back using some very low gears. Today's ride whets my appetite for next summer and the possibility of riding my first century.

Way to go Jacob. The next two days should be special. I hope it last through Wednesday when I can take a longer ride.
